If you are disillusioned, broken-hearted, angry or tired with the church or Christianity you’ve witnessed, or have long sought out spiritual nourishment elsewhere . . .
If you have been inspired by Richard Rohr, wondering or wanting to learn more about the Franciscan foundations of his faith and teaching . . .
If you still long for an authentic way to believe in God, and follow in the way of the prophets, saints and mystics . . .
You are invited to participate in this year’s Another Kind of Christian small group, an exploration in how to re-engage our Christian faith and re-imagine the world in fresh, and life-giving ways. Through the sharing of our own stories and struggles, reading and dialoguing with Father Richard Rohr’s classic Eager to Love: The Alternative Way of Francis of Assisi, listening to the related podcast, and communal practices of prayer, reflection and contemplation, we'll seek what it means to be a Franciscan kind of Christian.
Come join in this sacred and hope-filled conversation and community!
