We frequently hear in our culture, more is better. But when we add more good things and activities to our lives, we often end up just feeling more stressed and overwhelmed. How can we make choices that are more life-giving, not only for us, but also for our families, our world, and our planet? How do we learn to trust in the sufficiency and grace of ENOUGH, rather than feeling anxious and restless, always striving for MORE? How can we slow the pace, quiet the noise, and be more present in and grateful for the gifts of every moment?
In this workshop, we’ll wrestle honestly and together with the question, what IS enough? Through the sharing of our own stories and struggles, the reading and discussion of various writings on simplicity, and practices of prayer and discernment (plus a few practical tips), we’ll seek to simplify our lives, so that we and others can experience more wholeness, joy and abundance.
